Beautiful wedding In Wicklow

My friends Rocky (Dave) and Orlagh got married last Saturday.  They had the ceremony in Foxrock Church on a perfectly sunny day then had the reception in  the Druid’s Glen resort in Wicklow.  The beautiful bride wore a stunning vintage style gown with a lace veil and the bridesmaids wore teal dresses.  In addition to the best man and the groomsman they had two grooms maids who wore black dresses and stood on the grooms side of the church which was a lovely personal touch.

We were greeted with champagne and strawberries and homemade ice cream from the ice cream cart and after a delicious meal cake, finger food and cupcakes and tea and coffee appeared like magic as did a PHOTOBOOTH which I loved! Family and friends sang during the ceremony and for the first dance and we danced away to a swing band for the rest of the night.  I have not recovered yet 🙂

Druid’s Glen was an absolutely gorgeous venue and and they went all out to make sure everything was perfect.  I took what pictures I could but as usually either completely forgot how to use my camera or was too shy to use it:) I suffered a bad case of camera envy when I saw the wedding photographer but I am absolutely dying to see how the photos turned out!
