Ikea Stora loft bed for small space living.
After much research I decided on the Stora bed from Ikea. It was simple enough to assemble and much taller than I expected. There is enough room for me to stand up easily underneath as well as my desk and shelves and my make up bits and bobs. The space I live in is tiny but tall so a loft bed was the perfect solution. The bed is a double – which is perfect- and adds space to the room.

I bought two and half meters of floral fabric from ikea also and I use it to cover the alcove behind the bed. It works as a kind of headboard and a curtain to hide my clothes. I have shelves in behind them as well as hooks in the wall to hang clothes from. It keeps the bedroom/dressing room area separate from the living area so it seems less a bedroom and more a living space.
