It’s a gorgeous Indian summer here on the east coast. I went for a wander with my camera today to try and capture some of the atmosphere. The seaside is vibrant which is lovely considering the doom and gloom of the economy. The harbour was lively as always with tourists, fishermen and the swans. I saw no sign of the dolphins that have moved here recently but there is a fresh buzz here on the seaside.

Autumn with winter following on its heels will be here soon and I imagine that the visitors here today have that on their minds but for now there’s an Indian summer: there is a warm breeze and bright skies and ice cream parlours and all thoughts of winter are pushed below the horizon.
