Upcycling obsession: Basket
How to upcycle a thrift shop basket into craft storage and carrier.
One plain charity shop basket
Gingham fabric
Waistband Elastic
Cardboard to line
Glue
Craft knife
Attach gingham to cardboard using glue on reverse side. On top, decide what size and where you want the elastic, then cut through cardboard and fabric. Thread in the elastic, then secure on reverse. Glue all to the basket. Enjoy.
I use mine as a craft case, but can be customised to whatever you want.
